Daniel Luís

Daniel is a Scientific Director at HeartGenetics.

He received his BSc in Biochemistry and his MSc in Molecular Genetics and Biomedicine from Faculty of Sciences and Technology, New University of Lisbon (UNL).

During his graduation, Daniel worked as a researcher in Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica (UNL) performing heterologous protein expression and stopped-flow kinetics in anaerobic atmosphere.

While a research fellow at Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon (UL), he studied the molecular mechanisms underlying the antitumor potential of metal complexes, in a partnership with the Centro de Química Estrutural (IST, UL).

Apart from articles in international peer reviewed journals, Daniel also co-authored a book chapter on nanomedicine.
