Hélio Teixeira

Hélio has a Bsc in Clinical Analysis and Public Health from Escola Superior de Saúde Dr. Lopes Dias (Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco) and a Msc in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Universidade de Aveiro.

During his academic path, has collaborated in research projects in Microlab laboratory of the Biology Department from Universidade de Aveiro, which resulted in some congress presentations. He studied the influence of vegetable hormones and amino acids produced by plants in the virulence of phytopathogenic fungi.

Hélio is a Senior Laboratory Technician at HeartGenetics, since 2019.
